Many thanks for the birthday greetings. Very kind. I'd never noticed this feature of the forum before.
The day itself was spent mainly on French motorways (8:18 hrs) as we headed back to Rotterdam from Villandry to catch the overnight ferry to Hull.
But many happy memories of a warm sunny fortnight in our favourite place. I'm sure the weather's been much the same here...
Here's a pic of big Merc at our chateau (well, we own 2/50,000ths of it) taking its rightful place alongside some other classics.
