Good evening all.
I'm about to sell the CLK convertible, and the headlamp covers really ought to be refurbished to get rid of the clouding before I do. If I use a power tool, I'm concerned that I might make a pig's ear of it, but I found the rubbing rather tedious last time I did it (te hard way, manually, with progressively finer sandpaper and T-cut). Looking for a kit for the job on Ebay, I found this:
That little sander/polisher pad in a cordless drill would be OK, I'd think, and I could control the drill speed accurately. I'm a bit concerned about getting an even coat of sealer on afterwards, though.
I also found this:
Pardon our interruption...
I've never seen anything like it. No instructions for use, but it's obviously a ShenZhen Special, use-once-and-throw-away item for applying the sealer, but is it a bit Snake Oil? Anybody used one like it? Any good?
