Good evening all.

I'm about to sell the CLK convertible, and the headlamp covers really ought to be refurbished to get rid of the clouding before I do. If I use a power tool, I'm concerned that I might make a pig's ear of it, but I found the rubbing rather tedious last time I did it (te hard way, manually, with progressively finer sandpaper and T-cut). I've never seen anything like it. No instructions for use, but it's obviously a ShenZhen Special, use-once-and-throw-away item for applying the sealer, but is it a bit Snake Oil? Anybody used one like it? Any good?

Does it also seal the plastic to slow down UV deterioration after it has been used?

Chrome polish works if not too bad and it's cheap.
Use masking tape on body work.
