Headlights / Dab

Can anyone tell me what year did the W212 E class have the better headlights and /dab radio fitted please? looking for an estate but would like both of these if I dont go with the W213 (see my other post)

What do you mean by the 'better headlights', the Intelligent Light System (ILS)?

The likelihood is that ILS was std on one model, possibly Avantgarde as they were called back then, optional on the others. DAB was an option, but not sure if it was available initially on the W212, the difficulty is that cars were specced so differently, with various audio systems, Comand etc. that it's difficult to be precise about any car's spec., especially as options on the W212 were specified individually, not as packages as they are now (ie you want one thing but have to buy four others that you don't want ). In my experience, DAB was rare on the early cars.
