The car has only the 1 airbag, on the steering wheel.. I have googled & came up with..CHECK THE PLUG Connections under the drivers seat (YELLOW!) I just cannot see any?. Anyone suggest other avenues I can try! Forgot to say car is AUTOMATIC..Many thanks

First thing to check with any electrical fault are any relevant fuses to the system in question. While later cars had sophisticated seat occupancy pressure sensors in the seat base early cars relied on seatbelt buckle switches as part of the restraint system they can go faulty illuminating the SRS light?

Hi
The W202 Seat Belt tensioners are in the seat belt reel itself rather than the belt buckles.
Though these rarely cause issues.
I would still favor the passenger seat occupancy sensor connector, if indeed it has a passenger side Airbag as it was an option i believe on early 202s.
