How to remove and install rocker cover ml270 CDi W163

My first post!!

Working on solving my repeated leaking injector seal problem, and planning to install new thread inserts after one of the injectors blew out. Depending upon whether there is sufficient material to work with, I'll install either a 6mm internal / 10mm external or 8mm internal / 12mm external self-cutting solid steel insert with 2mm thick walls.

So, I know what to do, but before I start, I want to get some advice on removing the rocker cover? Has anyone done this before? Should I remove the air intake box or leave it? What about the wiring for glow plugs and injectors - it is a plastic shroud type thing but I'm not sure where it is connected to?

Any help would be appreciated.

columb I t would be best to see this done in video form ..Please go to youtube and put it in the search box. I came across one for the 250 cdi don't know if yours is the same.
