 might have had a chance if it was a C36 or C43 - I'd rather buy a clean and appreciating E39 M5 for similar money!!

Its not even a clean example, look at the wheel arches.

Incorrect badge positions on boot so no doubt already had rust issues in the past.

Drivers seat sagged after only 28000 miles..

Hi,
Pre-facelift 230k W202's are getting stupidly rare (more so the manual gearbox versions) I reckon even rarer than the 43 and the 36, but 15k not a hope, maybe 7.5 - 8k at a push.

Just 4 years ago I paid 900 quid for my runrout r reg pre facelift 230k , 90k with full c36 kit, 18" monoblocks, amg spats, sills, and zorst. Would probably not see change from 4 grand now !

It looks nice but I can think of a lot of other cars I'd buy for £15k before it!

That interior looks like "Classic - basic - trim. Nothing special/rare about it, as far as I can see. Cosworth power - what are they blithering on about ?

It's rare because the manual really doesn't suit the m104 engine.

No mention of a loom change either

And it's a forum member as well :)

V rare for loom issues on 202s, it'll be fine for '97

Was talking about the second car which is a 94 and has the m104 with the biodegradable loom. The original car has the 230k which never had the suicidal loom.

My first ever Merc was a 202 with the m104 registered in 97 which "should" have had the later loom but it still went (after I'd sold it though !)
