I believe blue is available. I paid 99p for this (a China long shot), but I don't think it's turned out too bad. Just looks like the piping you get on upholstery in the daylight.

Ok, so I actually agree. It did look a bit silly so I've taken a more subtle approach...

This cannot be seen during the day as its in the shut gap of the glove box handle.

Much nicer in my opinion. Better?

You can cut to size and it still works. Not sure if it's fibre optic or not?

Personally I think they would look better hidden giving off a glow effect (if they can) rather than a direct lighting effect.

You've got the dials on the right and nothing on the left - so with some additional lighting on the left you have more symmetry?

I would definitely agree with your comments with respect to my first attempt - that's why I took the lighting out and moved the the glovebox. I'll take a daylight photo - the light is completely hidden now and looks far from cheap and tacky.
