W210 E280 x2, w211 E55, W212 E63 biturbo, S204 C180K
Driving the S204 back from the workshop after having a brake fluid leak sorted, the car lost all power when climbing a steep hill.
Not much better on the flat, it was no acceleration and little power. I parked up and put my code reader on the car to see P0100, Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit.

I cleared the code and went for another drive. 30 miles later, the fault hasn't returned, touch wood.
Am I looking at an impending MAF sensor replacement or maybe an air leak from under airbox (M271 engine) or was this a one off occurance?
Anyone else had this happen?

I have had things like that with the W204, I used to own.
In my Opinion, Mercs are fickle things sometimes, and you may find it was a one off glitch?
Maybe you annoyed it by putting it the workshop, or are the Batteries ok, low voltage can lead to all sorts of issues, that dont actually exist.

Didn’t you have something similar a few months back?

That was a hose that detached itself from the throttle body. Not connected to the latest issue Will.

A few months ago my glc went into limp mode on a cold frosty morning after 500 yards , no fault codes .
Parked up and switched off ,then back on. It's been ok ever since . If it were something continuous I'm sure we'd all notice . Id put yours down to a glitch for now . Until you reach that point.
