Impossible to find clips, trim etc.

Watched a car restoration programme this morning and they needed some specific plastic clips for an engine cover on a Williams Clio which were not available anymore. He borrowed one from the William car museum (his mate ran it luckily!) and approached a 3D printing company who produced some for £50. Strikes me that many components, trim etc. could be produced the same way - they can even 3D print in metal now! (there was a custom manifold for Williams)

A bit expensive yes, but thought it ,may help any members on here who are restoring a classic and all other avenues had closed

Jay Leno has been restoring his vintage fleet for years using 3D printers.

Also, Koenigsegg produce their own 3D printed Turbocharger:
