Hello, when i unlock the car( engine not running, keys not in ignition) ,then i leave the car unlocked with doors open to unload and load some stuff from the boot lets say 5 min.
No dipped lights on,radio off etc..
Just a normal unlocked and take and put stuff inn/out of the car
Then when i start the car, the car wont start.. the clock goes back to 12 and everything, its like battery is dead?
WTF?
Then after a few attempts the car starts.

But when i unlock the car and go straight into the car then i start it the car starts no problem.
Or when i leave the car on the drive for 2 days in a row without being driven the car starts first time..

🤔🤔 i don't get it?
So battery goes dead if car is unlocked with boot door open for 5 min??

Is your mercedes the same?

Note*- i checked the voltage via instrument cluster and shows 12.5 v when engine not running then14 or so when engine running so alternator is fine..
also got a new battery 2 years ago with a voltage indicator buit-inn and also shows green

Can't give a definite answer, but my father in law has a CLS and a similar thing happened. But it sorted itself, maybe something he did?

Hi,can you ask your father in law how he sorted it out?

He didn't it, sorted itself out. Although sometimes these things can be voltage related, pointing at the Consumer Battery in my S Class anyway.
To get a better view of this, go to a Independent Specialist and explain the situation.
I hope you find the answer, I empathize, as these Cars lovely as they are, can be infuriating sometimes.

I don't know anything about these cars but I like that you start your post with the year and model of your car which makes these types of queries much clearer.

I was wondering, is there any setting in the system which allows you to set it up this way e.g. immobiliser setting?

Problem solved.
It was my nephew.
This only happened when my nephew was in the car,he sits inn then without the engine running he adjusts the electric seats over and over....so by the time i go into drivers seat etc and switch car on ,he's playing with the electric seats switches and the same time i turn ignition on and car might not have enough voltage for all that at same time
