I've just discovered that Peterborough is higher than London. It must be. On Sunday we drove the 90 miles down to London to stay with friends at St Katharine Docks (by Tower Bridge). The OBC registered 38.4 mpg, which I was very pleased with for a 3500cc V6 petrol engine and not particularly hanging around. Driving back up to Peterborough yesterday only returned 36.2 mpg, so it must have been uphill!

Or extra load........good lunch?:D

When I lived in Peterboghorror most of it was at or below sea level, so there must be another reason :dk:

I have always found MPG to be better when heading south in the UK.
