Hello everyone i have a cla200d 2018
Had the car couple of months and suddenly car went into limp mode… lifted the bonnet the vacuum hose after the maf sensor was came off as the jubilee clip was loose.
Cleared code n drove then engine light back on with code saying map n maff sensor had malfunction so tried to clean them before I replaced them with them with genuine merc parts.
After replacing them when i floor it in 4/5th gear on motorway the engine management light come but if i drive sensibly car stays fine.
I have scanned it and got the code
“P0101FB Mass air flow sensor 1 has a malfunction. The following test procedure must always be performed in its entirety.”
And also

“912749 The air quality sensor has a malfunction. There is an internal electrical fault”

Could the air quality sensor cause the limp mode and be linked to maf sensor? Btw the map sensor fault has gone after replacing it
If someone with experience could help be very helpful thanks.

It possibly needs the parts adaptation done , otherwise the vehicle still sees old parts.

I have took it to garage to re adapt the new parts but it seems the car is in limo mode without engine management light coming on.
Is that normal?

It can happen , mine has done that . I think some faults need to occur 3-4 times before an EML is displayed on the dash ??

Scan for error codes to see why it's limp.
