Lorenza 500 SL

Or even Lorinser ;)

I quite like it.

Stunning, Lorinser's SL's were just amazing.

Did someone say SL's don't look good with bodykits ????

Looks lovely apart from the seats made up from 1970's golfing trousers.

I saw this briefly on the road the other day.

It looked rougher in the flesh.

Ive been offered one very similar, i thought it was the same one, but the one i saw had been left standing for 4 years.. rust in usual places and leather interior that was well worn...

i estimated 3K had to be spent on the car to make it nice again.

stange coincidence as that was also on the outskirts of coventry,,,

this may have been tarted up..

The only reason I play golf is so I can legitimately dress like a pimp:cool:

The second Lorinser 107 I've seen in as many weeks. Both had cloth interiors as well. Luckily the kit is very easy to remove.

i think it looks awful personally the interior is the best bit wouldnt a genuine lorinser have had some non standard alloys on it.

those are genuine lorinser staggered alloys. they look good in the flesh, had them on my first SEC...

They don't make these anymore...these were made to replicate the stock MB 15-hole wheel, but Lorinser made it deep dish with 8Js front and 9Js rear....for w126, w124, w201 and w107, different sizes and offsets of course to match the model requirements.

Looks stunning..

Sitting very low at the rear, could be a different aftermarket suspension kit,maybe?...seems abit too low for Lorinser suspension kit wouldnt you say....

The seller also has an 1990 560SEC for sale which I came across last week, that also seems ok, especially for the price of 2k that he says would bag it.... needs chrome on it though IMO.

What year would the SL most likely to be? Is that Post Facelift interior (86' onwards)?

yes i can see that now i didnt look properly at 1st .
