Lowering a vito sport x

got a 08 vito sport x, dont like how high it is especially the back

Have found a couple of threads but neither come to a final outcome of how much to lower by

Just had a tape measure out and to get a 2" gap above wheel to arch front and rear i would need the gap to reduce by the following

30mm front
70mm rear

Cant find any springs that lower it like that

So at the back you currently have a gap of 70mm + 2 inches = 12cm? That sounds huge - I'm sure my 120 (which has the same suspension) is nowhere near that high.

The rear springs do break ... maybe yours had some dodgy replacements fitted?!

I'm at home today so just measured our 2007 120 as it's sitting on the drive (not necessarily completely level). At the back, from top surface of tyre to wheel arch is 75mm on the NS and 80mm on the OS. It had new MB rear springs last year. At the front it's 70mm both sides (still the original springs).
