Just my thoughts; good luck whichever direction you choose to go.
The suspension is already on the stiff side (for obvious reasons) so lowering will affect the compression rate/range making it a hard ride…perfect for smooth track work but a nightmare on real roads where there is every chance of bump steer/hopping off line etc. There is every chance the handling will be not be as good on real roads.
An additional problem with shorter (harder) suspension will be the increased risk of tyre and wheel damage.
The current set up gives a very nice wheel/wheel arch ratio and lowering would spoil the look. Lowered cars can look nice but often at the cost of drivability and real world practicality.
