M271 E200K timing chain check.

Seen as the car is about to turn 200k I said I’d check the timing chain. Will upload a pic soon. One thing I noticed is the chain is not tight? You can move the chain with two fingers on the top guide, in and out. What’s up with that? Tensioner? I presume once running the tensioner is tight?

Hi, I purchased the car with 180k on it so I presuming it’s been changed, what you think of the video, I’m sure last time I checked it was tight!
 
I would not be worried about that...yeah a bit of slack,but if the car starts on the button and there is no

rattle or misfire/hesitation whilst driving, just be on the ball with oil/filter changes and check again next service.

All buttoned up, as you say oil filter and changes, it’s due one in the next month thanks.
