Anyone come across any written info on this engine? I can't seem to find much about it. I'm curious about hp and torque curves etc.

It's a great underrated engine with huge torque with very impressive fuel consumption.
It's the little brother engine to the amg 63 (5.5TT) without the the running costs.
With an ECU tune you can get the amg 63 (500+hp/700+tq) levels of power but I haven't gone that route because it has enough trouble putting down its untuned torque and power.
I fitted a quaife LSD which has helped massively with traction.
