@Mactech, hope you spotted this!
Yes, Andrew Frankel has been a XJ220 fan since he was the first writer to test the car for Autocar back in the early 90's
His partner in crime on that test was Steve Sutciffe, still an Autocar writer, with his account of the end of that test. His description of Tom Walkinshaw aligns well with man I knew well and worked for 6 years with.
Andrew also did another test of this same car just last year and is the very car I intend to bring to Benz on the Green in a few weeks time.
