No doubt whilst being entirely happy about how your money is being spent by the BBC:

"The BBC Symphony Orchestra is to give a performance of composer John Cage's seminal piece 4'33", which does not contain a single note. Radio 3 is to broadcast the entire composition live, even having to switch off its emergency system which cuts in when there is apparent silence.

John Cage Uncaged - Broadcast Information

Friday 16 January
7.30pm, Barbican Hall - Concert 1: Cage in his American Context
LIVE on BBC Radio 3
Shown on BBC4 at 8.30pm"

The best critical review I can give of this fine piece of work and an excellent use of my Licence fee is… this is Absolute B•••••ks!!!

I thought 'The Emperors New Clothes' was a kids Fairy Tale.Obviously not in BBC fairyland. It should be funny but you just want to cry…

Give the choice between 4'33'' of silence and 4'33'' of (daytime) Radio 1, I know what I'd choose :D
