I have a 2014 E220 coupe and I can’t get my iPhone 11 Pro to connect to my car via the usb cable or the media link. Bluetooth works fine and I can listen to my music that way but nothing else. Has anyone got any ideas of what I can do. I have tried different cables and nothing works.

The media interface cables are known to fail and I suspect this is because they spent their time bent in the same position. Replacements have been on back order for sone time although things may have changed since I last checked some months ago.

Bending and twisting the cable in different directions and removing and reinserting the media connector in the port (likely in your central storage compartment) can sometime give a very temporary reprieve.
