My Merc covered just 54 K owned from new had the engine check light on.
Had the water pump replaced 6 months ago before the light came on!
I’ve found the temperature gauge tends to bounce about between 60-90 since the water pump change and it’s a generic pump.
Driving on motorway and slowed down at the next junction,the car was slightly hassitant to rev up and the idle a bit rougher but alright after a few seconds, once back on the motorway speeds there was quite a bit of vibration for a little while which then subsided.
Got it serviced and had spark plugs replaced,the codes did show up and were read by mechanic who then erased them!
The light hasn’t come back on since but still got slight vibration on the motorway again after the service the other day!
Any advice as my mechanic and i don’t think it’s the mounts!
