Maybe it's the usual 2nd rate service us Smart owners are getting used to from Merc dealers!

I believe Taunton are owned by the same group as Exeter. Looks like they have set standards throughout the group?

Yep, Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth & Truro all the same group.
Exeter seem to be a little less useless than the rest though. It only took them a week to read the diagnostic report to confirm the fault I told them my car had! It had taken Taunton a week to do nothing a few years ago!

And it had better be Hamleys that service my car the prices that main dealers charge!!!

Good job I work for an Independant! lol
