I may be wrong, but shouldn't the dash and centre console/armrest be the same colour as the interior? looks a bit odd where the door cards meet the dashboard.

No you do get this mix sometimes but the leather could also have been added at some point..

Diesels sell for alot more than their petrol equivalent.

I saw a 2000 C220 CDI W202 Estate with 80k on the clock sell for over £7.5k!

That is the kind of look I'd like to achieve for mine, perhaps with 17" wheels though. Take a good look at the picture of the rear wheel though, there is evidence of tin worm just above the skirt.
