Hi there, help needed.
When I put key in ignition and turn to second position before cranking all the lights on the dash flash intermittently? Car always starts. I've managed to film the problem on my phone. The car has actually stopped completely while doing 30mpg, all lights on dash disappear, no breaks, just came to a complete stop, but does restart.
While driving this happens once or twice a month. But ignition 2nd position before starting issue now getting more frequent
Mercedes dealer checked over and no fault found, and nothing registered with diagnostic. They suggested new ignition switch and recoding at a cost of £800 but they can't guarantee fixing issue..
Any advice or direction what be very appreciated.
