2015 Mercedes E Class
Hi, I collected my new car yesterday. I have some major concerns with regard to the specification of the car, as opposed to the brochure.
1. Leather Upholstery. This is definitely not leather, it's Artico. Out of interest I checked the C class online brochure, and Artico Leather is standard. The online brochure for the E Class states leather not Artico Leather.
2. Apple CarPlay, part of the standard spec of the Comand Online. Also not fitted to my car.
3. Not in the brochure but my car has Hankook Run Flats, my previous car Tyres which were not run flat, Bridgestone Turenza had a built in rim protector, these Hankook do not have any protection, I take pride in not curbing my alloys but fear these will not remain unscathed for long.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.

it's a trip to the dealer I guess , but also in the back of the brochure I'm sure it says specification can be changed at anytime or words to that effect ,,,
Good luck with your issues

All the taxman friendly E classes have had the Hankooks for a few years now, my E has leather though and that was a July 2015 build. There is two grades of leather don't forget.

Do you have the intelligent lights with adaptive high beam? The current facia connect (no hard drive/music register fitted anymore) radio? Then you can figure out if it's old stock or not.

As for the CarPlay I think it's just another dashcam must have you really* really* need.

Hi Alf, thanks for the reply. Yes my car has the adaptive headlamps. After closer examination, I think it's just about leather! Also no hard drive and different system to my 2013 facelift car. I contacted my dealer and was told there will be a module released soon that will be fitted foc, if wanted. My point is not that I really need it but the literature says it should have it. On a few occasions the rim protector on my old car saved curbing the alloys.
