All, I After opinions on if I should disturb my ezl and put a new layer of heat sink paste. Car runs ok, but occasionally when hot the Rev counter will play up. I believe the feed for re counter comes from ezl. Car is r129 500 sl 1990. I am wondering if it is getting a tad hot and opening up a dry joint
Also I believe they had a thermo film of some sort which is stated as being critical. I guess this could be a crispy mess if I lift th ezl. Can you still get it or is there something else and does the film go on back before paste or after ?
Any comments or experience appreciated.
