Mercedes GLC SAT NAV

Hi there

My Dad has just purchased a Mercedes GLC and the in car display is reading “No Memory Card Containing Navigation Software Inserted”. I think I have found the slot for the SD card and it appears the card is not even inserted. Can someone please confirm this is correct (see attachment). Many thanks
