Well okay, a tad of word play and spin from me.

autosport.com - F1 News: Horner warns FIA over engine freeze

but in what way is there any downside with the following statement?

" we will end up with Mercedes-powered cars winning all the races "

Ford lived for years with the pretence that Cosworth DFV's were actually FORD engines and they won season after season.

Its a bit like saying the Bridgestone tyres win every race!

If I remember right, the object was to build something that beat the opposition, not moan that they found something and you didn't. They all had the same rules!

He is gonna look great if Ferrari win the first race ain't he?

Its also a bit like saying that British engineers win every race :)

the irony of Mercedes Benz High Performance engines being in the UK, along with Mercedes, Force India and McLaren F1 teams must have escaped them somewhere along the way.

I think Christian Horner is quite a reaonable person, but he does seem to have fallen into the Max Moseley way of washing his issues in public.

McLaren supply the standard ECU for ALL F1 engines so I guess there is another issue to look at.

I do like what Todt seems to be saying here too.

"F1 must understand that the world has changed. How can you explain that an F1 car needs 80 litres of fuel to cover 100 kilometres?

This guy's in charge?

God help F1...
