Hi All,
Recently I had quotation for heater valve replacement, from my local mechanic
He quoted £125 for labour,
Then booked in for next day,
When I have left car for a replacement after an hour received a message from mechanic (Heater valve is a major job, master cylinder has to come off Labour cost £185)
I have called my local mercedes Indi the didn't wanted to give a quotation for some reason, the want to have diagnostic first as always diasgnostic charge is £85.
And my local mercedes in Stockport have quite bad Google rating regarding mechanical jobs.
I know is a fiddly job with limited excess but my issue is I don't to touch master cylinder, I think it can be done without removing master cylinder.
Any advice would be much appreciated,
