I have been readying around options for deleting the Addblue/BlueTec system as I want to be prepared in the event I get an issue down the line.
Has anyone done this before in the UK, I've seen it done abroad but can't find anything in the UK.
Will it be able to pass an MOT after? provided you use premium diesel etc.

I don't have any issues with the system but many suggest is a ticking bomb.

Given the complexity of the emissions control systems on modern diesels and the embedded nature of those systems in the vehicle's electronic systems I would guess that the car may not even run properly, or at all, with all of the EGR/DPF/Adblue systems disabled. Passing the MOT would be the least of your problems I would imagine - which it would not pass anyway because the emissions would be way off. This is the dilemma facing owners of modern diesels - you get the performance, fuel economy and relatively low emissions but at some point there is going to be a large repair bill. You either just accept it, are ignorant to it (most owners) or you sell the car and buy something else.

Any modification of the emission control system is an automatic MoT fail.
Whether you get caught is another matter..
