Hi all! On Tuesday I'll be picking up my first Merc, a gorgeous late 2014 C63 507 Coupe in white.... I can't wait!
I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to go for an AMG, but I'm rectifying that by jumping straight into a 507. The car has got big tyre track to fill on my drive, as it'll be replacing my much loved 2010 Focus RS MR375, a car I've owned from new and have absolutely adored. Letting go of the Focus has been incredibly difficult and chosing a replacement was just as tough.
I chose the 507, as my new daily, from a shortlist of Maser GT, Audi S8, Porsche 911 (997), Bentley Conti because it felt the cloest to the RS. I wanted a car that looked special, sounded good, had character and would make me smile everytime I drive it and then make me look back over my shoulder after I park up (something I still do now with the RS!). Cutting a long story short, the Merc won pretty easily in the end. It'll be joining a 2016 Mk3 Audi TTS and 2013 Ultima Can Am LS3. It's safe to say, I'm used to spending time at petrol stations....
I hope to be an active member of the forum, so look forwards to speaking with you all and maybe meeting up at some point.
