That's how it was when I got it from the dealer. To be honest I never even noticed.

I love those wheels - they really make the w203 in my eye.

By the way I'm proud of it being a diesel. When I see 38mpg as opposed to 21 mpg (and half as quick) in the Lexus lump......

Graham, they are a dream to clean - an absolute dream. Two minutes with a Jay cloth and some wheel cleaner or the hand wash I use. There are absolutely no nooks and crannies that are difficult to get to. :)

Very nice & Clean! I agree wheels are really good to keep clean. Look after her!

CDIs have alot of respect ;) I have even burnt some cars in my Sprinter :)

The two best things about my car is looking at the "gunsight" and the parking sensors. It always produces a "what the hell is that ?" from the passenger when I purposely drive it as close as I can to a side or front obstruction. Then I reverse and ask them to look in the upper rear window..."You've got flashing lights there as well" they say. "But the distance numbers are the wrong wasy round" they add... "Yeah but they are the right way round in my rear view mirror" ;)

The 5 double spokes I curently have are easy to clean as well and I was until Sunday interersested in getting those sports pack wheels until I came across the C55 AMG I saw with the 18" AMG studs/5double spoke :)

However. they will not be as easy to clean :( - I'm havinmg them fitted on Sat :D

I had 18" double spoke alloys on my Lexus and they were that difficult to clean I ended up never cleaning them. Perhaps that was because I never liked the car though. If my Merc had them I'd be keeping them spotless.

With the current 5 double spokes I have I am able to very easily clean the inside of the rims by getting my hand in between the spokes ;) With the AMG's it will be a slighthy tighter fit to get my hand in (so I guess if I have trouble then I'll get wifey to user her smaller petite hands for accessing the inside of the spokes ;) )
