Navigation 20 does it allow bluetooth audio streaming?

HI,
I have standard Audio 20 in my w207 pre facelift with bluetooth but without BT audio streaming,
I want to add the Navigation 20 module
The question is does it add BT audio streaming?- Does anyone have this Navigation 20 module installed?
Does it give the BT audio streaming?

The very first Navigation-20 systems did yes but this was quickly withdrawn.

No it didnt.

The early ones were called UMI and were problematic. They were subsequently given a firmware update to bring them up to Navigation-20 spec but so many of them had main controller failures that the product was dropped. there were a number of different part numbers. some worked with the W212/w207, some didnt. Connectors and looms changed throughout the life cycle too!

Can I possibly upgrade the command system on my 2012 w212? It doesn’t have Navi (hence to media port either), and I don’t want to have Navi (because smartphone navi far outperform car navis) but I want a system with a usb, iPod inteface and Bluetooth audio streaming. All three are available in my 2012 Hyundai hatch back!

I know there are upgrades that even install Apple CarPlay, but not sure if it can be done on commans systems with no Navi.

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

It would be good to establish first what system you currently have.

COMAND has built-in navigation, so if your system does not have Navi then it's not COMAND, might be Audio20?

Also, facelift W212 can have COMAND NTG4.5 retrofitted, but I am guessing that your 2012 car is pre-facelift?

Either way, www.comand.co.uk is the best place for Infotainment system upgrades.
