Hi. 2011 C220 w204 diesel owner.
I have joined this forum as I have had my car for about 4 months now, its been for an MOT but before that it had a visit due to the engine light which the previous owner coughed up for (fair cop). Apparently it was the dpf filter or something. After a perfect mot i was driving on holiday so I did some fluid checks and found evidence of black death on my engine top. This car was slightly coughing from the first month I had it so how did 2 different garages miss this?!?.. anyway I have decided to fix the black death myself as I have lost confidence in my local garages, which has led me to here.
