Trying to work out what this is in my Ml55 2002



Anyone know ? Is it bluetooth device ? Something TV / Radio based ?

Whatever you do DON'T touch it, its the button for the ejector seat! Unfortunately I have no idea, may be worth contacting the seller you purchased it from and enquire? Or switch your bluetooth on, on your phone and see if it finds any devices?

Hi,

Well, I have done a bluetooth scan, nothing comes up. I have rang the previous owner and he didnt know either The wire goes into the dash and I dont want to start ripping it open. Was hoping someone may spot it and know.

Perhaps its a 8ullsh1t detector, green means truth !

I'm thinking remote control eye for a TV/DVD player. My Kenwood system had something very similar for the DVB tuner.

It could be a microphone for a bluetooth setup such as a Parrot.

Hi all,

I think its a some sort of remote control. I had a parrot setup before. I scan the car and there are no bluetooth devices around me.

Will leave it, eventually I will find out what it is.

Don't suppose there's a makers name or number anywhere on it?

Do you have anything with the vehicle's original supplying dealer's name on it, i.e. service book? Maybe they would know?
