New Steering Wheel (W222) S Class 2016

Hi All,
Currently have the old style 3 spoke AMG steering wheel fitted, have been looking at the new style wheel that has the upgraded controls including the little touchpads.
Question is: Can the new style wheel be put onto a 2016 model and everything work as it should? Or is it a case that i just need to stick with what i have fitted?

Hello. I don’t think it’s possible due to the control unit it links up with not having the correct software built into it. Have never seen it done though so could be wrong.
