Newbie with dr520

Hi guys,after being away from mercedes for a few years decided to treat myself and buy a new dr520 saloon in calcite,god the car is unreal,sound is fantastic,i borrowed a c63 for a couple of days before deciding to go ahead with my purchase and im amazed how much louder the car is.Will post some pics asap,mine is a little diffferent than the others as i had full brabus carbon interior in lieu of the matt wrap which im not a lover of and can only see problems with in the future with discolouration and peeling etc.Will post a more detailed report when i get some more miles under my belt,but must say im glad to be back.

Would i be right in saying you are a member on pistonheads?
 
thx guys for the welcome,yes iam a member of pistonheads,im a real car nutcase as im sure most of us are,i live and breath the damn things.Will get some pictures up asap,my last amg was a sl55 and i thought that was a great sound etc,but this car/engine is in a different league.The brabus carbon interior is a real quality item and changes the whole feel of the interior along with the alcantera,have agood day guys.

I was reading today that the saloons are pretty exclusive but they only made five DR520 Estates!

hi again guys,sorry have gone quiet on you but have been a little under pressure at work,will post pictures this week hopefully as long as i can work out how to do it.Car wont be coming out at the moment as roads are a wash with salt here in devon,so will have to put up with my trusty old ford ranger.
