No Second or reverse c220 CDI Manual gearbox

I'm new to the club so hello to everyone

I Currently have a 2011 c220 cdi with a manual gearbox. I parked the car up last night and everything was fine. I left for work this morning and Second and Reverse gears have gone missing. Its the same if engine is on or off.
If any one sees my gears could you point them back in my direction please. If not could anyone suggest how I can fix this please.

I presume that something has happened to the selector mechanism? Do the other gears select normally?

Do you have a local MB Independent specialist?

As above, sounds like a rod or bushing has become detached.

Currently waiting for a local garage to call me back to see when they can fit me in but as its Friday i'm not expecting it to be today.
All other gears are fine. Car drives as normal providing that I don't need to reverse and skip second.

I read something about a bushes on the side of the box failing and stopping second and reverse being selected
