Hi all, i have changed filter and flushed approx 3ltrs about three times over a period of a couple months, of fluid in the transmission as i didnt have any service info on the car but previous owner said it had been just been done, but fluid was dark and dirty so he lied.
At approx 170xxxkms, now done 180xxxkms. Changing gears wasnt as smooth as i thought it should be so brought a dipstick to check fluid level after the change to make sure its right.. The change of fluid and new filter hasnt made any difference to changing and think it shouldnt lurch as it does when changing gears.
It feels like it slips into a gear.
seems to be the same whether in c or s mode.
Less prominent under hard acceleration but i think it still does it.
What i have found alot and to be annoying is it doesnt seem to change down when coming to an intersection unless i stop, but, if i dont stop and im still rolling and i go to accelerate, it jerks into gear and changes through at normal revs (although still lurches through the gears).
Would the two be related?
Manual shift works but lurches too.
A shame really as it drives lovely and is this just puts a damper on the drive.
Can anyone suggest any reasons this may be happening, and being mechanically minded, can i try doing something myself?
Thanks Karl
