Hello,

I have a S211 E280 that I’m thinking of remapping. Before I do so I’d like to delete the DPF & CAT but i’m having struggle finding them .

Anybody done this before that can point me in the right direction?

Are you going to inform your insurance company about the charges and mapping?

You do need to think very carefully about the consequences of what you are proposing. Not informing your insurer will invalidate cover.

One member on the forum had paint protection film applied but didn't declare it and had their insurance voided

Also, be aware that MOT regulations are going to change soon and physical and other checks for DPF EGR and Catalyst will be introduced. If they have been removed then the vehicle will fail and possibly be impounded.

Indeed but I thought that new procedures are being introduced to check for deletion in software etc?

I thought new measurement of tailpipe emissions to also pick up things like AdBlue delete. But I've not seen any details of this.
