I have had so much & severe stuttering issues with my W204 & OM651 equipped MB during my ownership, but no fault codes. I bought her just before she turned 5 in spring ´19 with only 60.000 miles on the clock. (100.000 Km)
I tuned it 2 weeks after buying with files from internet & an Alientech clone, hoping it would cure the stutter, but no. had other people trying it but they couldnt feel anything wrong.
Finally a couple of days ago i had enough & tried losing the pipe that is mounted between the EGR valve and the "mixer". What a PITA to reach the bolt not shown but i managed.
Cut & insert a 10 * 3,5 Cm piece of aluminium & blocked the pipe completely. (I bent the plat so it wouldnt slip through as i couldnt reach the far side if it got to far)
Car must have EGR delete in software (As mine has had for +1½ year) for this to work or there will be MIL-light in the dashboard.
The engine is now running as smooth as new & really looking forward to see how much fuel i can save. (i know its illegal in UK, but im not a UK resident & i drive on very lonely roads most of the time
)
