Om651 exhaust gas temperature

Hi all, could someone tell me if these readings are okay for the om651 engine under load (3 thousand rpm, 80mph)

Sometimes even when driving slowly around town the temps jump up to over 300c in which case the car drives better and the dpf fills up slower (got my scan tool always plugged in). Could someone advise?

Under normal operation I would expect engine to tailpipe would go in the order hottest to coldest.

There is one exception, the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst, which is before the DPF can cause an exothermic reaction and add heat under certain conditions. I didn't think that at the circa 200 deg you show it would be working and certainly not adding 50 deg.
