OM651 Oil cooler/Filter housing Leak

Hi All,

I have the infamous Oil cooler/filter housing leak on my W204 OM651 engine and currently in the process of ripping it off, am I safe to replace just the seals or is it a need to simply just replace the whole unit? Cooler & Housing?

I would replace the whole unit as they can leak internally. Its a lot of work to replace just the seals, to find afterwards that it has an internal leak and you need to do the job again.
