Hi I'm a newb to the forums, I'm very mechanically 'hands on' however i have an issue I cant resolve.
I bought an E270 CDI 2003 about 2 month ago, last week the o rings on the 13 pin connector failed and ATF came out i got P0740 & P0715 (clutch circuit malfunction & speed sensor) car went into limp.
I drained the fluid out took pan and filter off then took the valve body off, there was no metal filings or debris in the pan, i took the conductor plate off the valve body and tested all of the solenoids for resistance (all ok apart from TCC) I ordered a new conductor plate, 13 pin plug, filter, pan gasket and ATF.
I cleaned the valve body with brake cleaner, then started re-assembling everything in the correct order, cleared the faults once complete, engine running for 15 mins to gain heat in the trans then once at 80 degrees, started to fill 1L at a time moving the shifter back and forth once correct level was achieved.
Car still in limp mode and throwing p0740 once again, if somebody could give me some advice would be much appreciated Thanks Ian
