Hi all, I acquired a c200k estate (S203) last year which had several codes present. I have worked through them and gotten rid of all but one which is P2061- Reductant Injection Air Pump - Circuit High.

I have replaced all vacuum hoses and the crank case and top end breather hoses aswell as what I believe to be a good secondary air pump ( which looks like an egr valve) this knocked out the P0410 code I was getting.

How can I test this pump? as I am currently burning way more fuel than I should be and the idle is a little lumpy or should I be looking at the vacum solenoid on the top of the engine by the coils as this is the only thing with a circuit which actuates the air feed to the mechanical pump by looks of things.

There is very little information available specific to my model in order to make a certain diagnosis. Most of the information is generic. I've changed most parts in the system as they were defective old or brittle. I definitely have no vacum leak and the car passed the smog test in the last couple of weeks. It's just really heavy on fuel at the minute. I've changed the upstream O2 sensor and the downstream is reading as it should so it's just the air flow that's throwing an issue.
