Hi peeps

Anyone had this error code before? I'm sure some have.
The engine management light came on Saturday night so used an code reader and found out the problem. Would love to know where to start to fix the problem. The Car runs fine until you take it on the motorway, it won't go over 2k revs and at a certain point it will go into a kind of limp mode. No power available when you put your foot down flat to the floor. But come off the motorway, switch the engine off and it's fine, until you get back on the motorway the same thing happens. Won't go over 70....not a bad thing.

So do I need a DPF clean, force regen, replacement? Can anyone advise?

With Benz on the green in a weeks time looks like I'm going to miss this as I'm not sure I should be driving the car.

Any advise is appreciated as always.

Hi Twodogs,

Sounds the same as what mine was doing (S212 E350 CDI) and I think same error code. Was the dpf sensor (quite common fault). Think it was about £60 delivered for a new one, ten mins job to replace, two hoses, 1 electrical plug and one 10mm bolt. Has been fine since
