Sorry to resurrect an old thread but anyone able to give an update on quality of service of this establishment please. Are they still on their game as reported in post 1?

I am looking for a local, reliable Merc specialist who does not cost the earth.

Yes, most definitely!

Nick is a great chap, very helpful and generous, and certainly knows his stuff.
Very reasonable rates, and never charges for anything not needed.

Can't recommend him high enough!

Based on the good reviews and being out of warranty, have decided to move servicing here rather than main dealer.

Well, based on my initial & simple A service, I'd say all very OK, swift painless and wallet friendly! Clean work area, felt I was valued as a customer, bodes well.

Used their suggested Dexos 2 5w30 229.51 oil rather Mobil 1, same spec and good quality product at less cost so seems VFM(value for money).

Dealt with Nick, amenable and knowledgeable guy, had an interesting mix of M-B's in and being worked on, if I get a more esoteric M-B I'd be happy to bring it here.

Would like to add another recommendation for Nick, who is clearly knowledgeable, and does what is needed at a fair price.

Just an A service on my SLK, but will be very happy to go back as and when needed.
