Anyone in to photography or old cameras?
I have a couple of old cameras (non digital) that are going free if anyone wants to collect them from either East Peckham or Gravesend Kent.
I can list them if anyone is interested.

1. Canon EOS1000 with a canon 35-80mm lens.
2. Agfa record I 1952-54.
3. Olympus trip 35.
Konica C35 EFP A bit used!

I'd have thought you'd get a little cash for these ?

Although film cameras no longer command much money .

I would be interested in them for my dad, he is really into photography and has many cameras especially old ones. He is in Africa but I would obviously take them to him on my next trip.

I just need to check if a family member could pick them up from you as I live in the better part of the Country, the North that is. So if you give me until later today I will give you a definite answer thanks.

I would also make a donation to charity as is the norm on this site.

There is probably a bit of value to them but no one seems to want them all they want to pick and choose and for me to send them via post and to be honest i cant be ar5ed! My best result would be someone honest and above board wnat them all and give me a drink for them on collection.

At one point further education colleges wanted simple mechanical exposure cameras like Olympus OM1 etc for teaching " the basics" where you set exposure aperture and speed manually - don't know if that still holds good.

ps anyone see Alan Yentobs Imagine program on Vivian Maier--- weird but in a hugely addictive sort of way.

While I am interested in cameras , I already have a fair number of them and am too far away to collect ( Scotland ) .

If you don't get any takers , I'd have thought sticking them on Gumtree as cash on collection , open to offers might have got a result .

I used to have three twin lens Rolleis ; I still have a little Rollei 35S in the glovebox of my car - nice cameras .

I was born in London but only by chance! Most of my siblings and their families live there now but none of them sadly are able to collect the cameras so I am afraid I can't have them.

Many thanks for offering though and if you don't manage to get rid of them perhaps you could give them to a charity shop or even a second hand camera seller may be interested in them. Tell them it is all or nothing.
