Not much different to the matt black foil wraps that are still popular, looks wise at least.
I've seen clips of people spraying entire cars in U-pol Raptor pick-up truck bed liner, and that really does look nasty. Probably quite hard wearing though!

Maybe worth trying if you are putting your car in storage for 6+ months over the winter.
The video must be rated 18. As it scared the hell out of me just watching it. And it isn't even my car that is being sprayed.
