Porsche v. everybody really

Some may have wondered at the wisdom of a sports car maker taking on King Ken the Newt Fancier on a Policy matter. Wonder no more.

Porsche is now clear to own a majority stake in VW and thus have Audi, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti in tow. Given that VW has recently announced it will be taking a majority stake in Scania and will continue to hold 30% of MAN, that is one stonking European vehicle making franchise.

Let us hope they do not get bogged down per the Daimler-Chrysler fiasco.
